Scottish artist – Eleanor Spens

I am a self-taught artist based in Fife, and have been painting for many years. I grew up in a creative household, so it was inevitable that art would become a significant part of my life. I ran a gallery in Edinburgh working with many contemporary Scottish Artist and running workshops for over 15 years but I have now decided to focus on further developing my own work.

My work is inspired by my surroundings, the beautiful and ever-changing land/seascapes, and nature around me. I work mainly in mixed media with elements of collage and papercut included in some of my pieces.

I have work held in private collections at home and overseas and exhibition in a few galleries in Scotland.
